On Acer/Lenovo machines is a pre-installed version of Lights-Out 0.8.2 running. 

You have to uninstall this version first. Please follow these steps:

• Use Remote Desktop to connect to your server
• Important: Start the WHS Console on the server and then close the console
• Go to control panel->Add/Remove programs
• Uninstall Lights-Out
• Proceed with step 1 below

Download LightsOut and copy the .msi file into folder \\Server\Software\Add Ins.

Run Windows Home Server Console, click on settings, Add Ins, Available Add-Ins and select LightsOut for installation. The console will automatically close after installation.

Run Windows Home Server Console again and configure your options. See settings for more details.

Install the client software application in all your Windows Home Server computers.
